CELEBRATION OF THE INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY IN THE SABARMATI UNIVERSITY 2020

The Sabarmati University organised the celebration of the republic day on 26th January, 2020 between 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM followed by the cultural program in the Campus area.the campus was decorated with tricolour balloons and flags. The program was started with a prayer followed by the flag hoisting and Zanda Geet. The registrar of the university, Mr. Ashish Chaturvedi did flag hoisting and gave a speech highlighting the responsibilities performed by an individual as part of their service towards their motherland. Mr. Udai Deshpandey, Principal, School of Law, Sabarmati University had explained the insights of the word “Republic” and the implementation of the Indian constitution being the longest surviving constitution of the world along with its preamble. The national anthem and song were sung by the children, specially invited for the celebration. The invitees were asked to be dressed in any of the tricolours of the Indian Flag to grace the occasion. The management had arranged the refreshments for the students as well as for the faculty members. The program ended with votes of thank by Ms. Misri Khatri. Overall, the Indian Republic day was celebrated with a great joy and enthusiasm by the Sabarmati University.
